Electricity- its use in practical life
Electricity is one of the most useful things that have made our life more comfortable. Man has made this powerful thing a slave.
It has many uses. It is used for heating and lighting the room, cooking food, washing clothes, ironing, driving machinery of all kinds. It heats our rooms. It can be used to move fans and make the room cool. In the town, the streets are lit with it. With the help of electricity, one can go up in a lift to the topmost flat of storeys. We can use electric torches. It is also used in heating water. A man can go from place to place in an electric tram. Electricity saves time, trouble and expanses. People can listen to the radio, watch TV, and speak with another people through a telephone, which are worked with electricity.
Kulekhani, Marsyangdi are some hydroelectric projects. Nepal can earn foreign money by selling hydro-electricity to foreign countries. The government should give more attention to produce electricity. Its supply should be made available in the villages too.
