Where
do women stand is a topic of great debate all over the world. Can they exist in
all dimensions of existence parallel to men? Let us begin this episode with
this pressing issue.
The
master plan of creation is depicted in opposing natures. This formula applies
to both living and non-living creatures. Thus, there are positive and negative
poles, or male and female principles, in creation. Human life is also made up
of these two opposites, male and female.
According
to the unbiased assessment, women can stand on the same platform as men and
enjoy the same kinds of privileges.
There
are fundamental differences between men and women, but these differences cannot
be counted as disparities. There are numerous areas where men and women can
enjoy common privileges while performing common duties. We can imagine creation
as a vehicle, with the male and female worlds serving as the front and rear
wheels. If any of the wheels becomes dysfunctional, faulty, or incompatible,
the balance of creation will come to a halt.
The
concept of male and female equality is true in both practical and philosophical
contexts. The history of human civilizations has shown that wherever and
whenever disparities are created as a result of exploitation, society or
creation fails, disrupting the entire process of progress and prosperity. There
are examples in every field of knowledge and in every segment of humanity where
women, when given the opportunity, have proven to be no less than men. Gargi,
Gautami, Sita, and Savitri are illustrious women in the Vedic era. Madame
Curie, Florence Nightingale, Indira Gandhi's sister Nivedita, and other
modern-day women demonstrate that the female world has a distinct potentiality.
What is desired is the addition of practical inputs to this concept. In many
areas, the world of women can outperform the world of men.
Let
us not be so narrow in our thinking that we create an environment of nonsense
competition between men and women. The adventure of progress must always be a
collaboration between these eternal principles of creation. Love should triumph
over hatred, and dynamism should replace lethargy as the criterion for
evaluation. And the only positive solution for this joint venture is pair
compatibility. But how do you find compatible personalities? The only solution
is extensive quality education. Quality education must instill true knowledge
as well as moral and spiritual values. As a result, women must be given equal
educational opportunities not only in academic careers, but also in
post-student lives, whether governmental or private. Women must have equal
access to military and police services around the world.
Of
course, talent is the most important criterion in any type of service. However,
opportunities to develop talents followed by impartial evaluation must be
provided to both worlds in an impartial manner. If traditions must be changed,
let us change them; if social and government laws must be amended, let us do so
while keeping everything up to date so that no artificial differences appear on
the screen. Following that, it is up to men and women to prove their suitability
for the position.
The
Hindu religion depicts a beautiful concept of human personality as
'Ardhanarishwar,' which is half male and half female.
Ardhanarishwar is the first evolution from the indeterminate, ineffable, and absolute Brahma when the process of creation begins; Ardhanarishwar represents 100% truth, 50% by He-principle and 50% by She-principle. The Ardhanrishwar personality is then separated into separate and autonomous personalities known as Purusottom and Para Prakriti in the following phase. The space between them appears to be empty, but it is not. It is full of the most powerful magnetic waves that attract each other. Philosophers refer to this attraction as divine love. This divine love is a spiritual energy that unites these two opposing forces to give us the whole truth. As a result, while there is a difference between these two principles, it is a non-difference in unthinkable style and strategy. The truth of inherence is the most hidden. Purusottom's inner personality conceals Para Prakriti (female principles). The same is true for Para Prakriti. When creation occurs, this eternal principle of inherence is carried along with it. This concept encourages inter-conversion of pride in believing that I am a male or that she is a female. This is not the result of a philosophical exercise; yogis from the Vedas and Upanishads visualized and realized this truth by discovering a special technique known as yoga.
Our educational policy and plans must be based on the concept of equality; if a man can prove to be a good politician, a woman can stand parallel to him; no discipline in creation is such that women cannot complete men. However, this competition should always be motivated by a sense of love and knowledge, rather than by jealousy or any other form of partiality or enmity.
If a
man and a woman want their joint venture in this seemingly complex creation to
run smoothly, let them look for compatible pairs who are compatible in
physical, mental, and spiritual personalities. Compatibility in male and female
pairs provides a genuine concept of marriage, transforming even this so-called
nasty sex-emotion into divine love, bringing eternal light and delight.
