Social Service
An organization in which people are involved to do work of good to the whole society is called social service. Man is also a social animal, so he lives together in the society. As living in society, man does and has to do something good for the development of whole society, neighborhood and neighbors. Many organizations are involved in social service. These organizations have much work such as providing rights to the people who are being repressed and over ruled, providing correct education, etc. The changing of society by the acting of the actors is also a social service. These works are not only for one but also of all the people.
Society means a developed condition because of the combination of people. Society is of man and he needs it during his lifetime. If all the people work together with 'we feeling' there will be development in society as well as it will play as important role at last. Therefore, if there is society then, all the people will be developed but if there is no contact between people then society will be lead towards bad work. If society goes like this then people who are a little bit educated, who have 'we-feeling', kind will be diminished from society so, the poor condition of society would enable us to see a vast difference between people.
Now, in this condition people with more money are ruling over the poor and they are eating by sleeping like 'Kumbhakarna' but the poor ones are working the whole day and night just for one meal a day. As the law all, the people should work or do their duty but in our society, the poor people are suppressed. As the property of society, the roads which are used for travelling, bridges used for crossing rivers, drinking water, water supplies for irrigation, education, health and the relief providing work which are continued are also social service work. Though government is for people, if the people themselves cannot think for their good how government can do it alone. So in the nation government as well as other different organizations involved in social service work should develop a communal among the people. The people like Mother Teresa, Florence Nightingale, Dayabir Singh Kanskar, etc have also been great and famous due to their good social service work. Helping others without caring about their own selves in true devotion for social service.
As we know, people of different castes, language, cultures, tradition live in society; each of them can help others if they do work without any jealousy and thinking bad for others. The process of helping uneducated by educated, poor by rich, bad persons by good persons is also a kind of social service. To raise the society up by doing development works, maintaining peace and helping others is the duty of the people. To help helpless, unhealthy and poor people is real social service. A good social worker must always have the aim to develop the society property and run efficiently. Following the given process the result or conclusion of social service can be found.
