DREAMS THAT
DIDN'T COME TRUE
Sudina, a 24 years old girl, was from a middle class family who had joined BBS 2nd year. She had a happy family with a father, mother, small brother, and a little sister. Smart, ambitious, beautiful, fascinating; how could Sudina be described? She had an attractive personality, and had self-confidence, enthusiasm, strong ambition and lots of hopes and expectations from life. She was a dreamer. She often dreamed about her future, about her life's lovely moments. She had a dream of gaining name and position in society and of course wealth. She wanted to do something that would make everyone honor her and remember her forever. And she could do anything to make her dreams come true. With all those dreams in her eyes, she moved on towards her life. She believed in her dreams and believed in her life.
However, Sudina was not familiar with the fact that dreams are far away from reality. Life is not as what person thinks about it. We usually think about one thing and what happens is another thing; especially it happens with girls. They keep many dreams in their eyes but hardly any fulfilled. They have to compromise with life and live their life for other's sake. This is exactly what happened with Sudina. A storm came in her life and blew away her very dreams and desires. One day, her parents left her away. They were killed in an accident. The responsibility of looking after her little brother and sister came upon her. There was no one to help her and she had nowhere to go. She has to fight with her life. She decided to do a job and began to search for it. Ultimately, she got a job in an Advertising Agency. She worked hard for her brother and sister and was able to give them food, clothes and good education. Life was going on like this for a year. One day, her boss called her in his cabin and proposed her to marry. Sudina just couldn't believe her eyes. She came out of there without saying a word. She couldn't sleep all that night. She was only thinking about her boss's proposal. How could she marry such a 69-year-old man? What about her dreams, her life? However, if she did so she could provide her brother and sister a better and secure life. She didn't have to struggle in life, and her brother and sister won't face any problem in their lives if she did so. Waves of thought came frequently in her mind. There were her dreams; on the other hand, there were her responsibilities towards her brother and sister who didn't have anyone in this world except her.
At last, she decided to sacrifice her dreams and desires for them, for their good future and better life. She decided to accept her boss's proposal. Her dreams were shattered into pieces, like a glass. They were coming out of eyes as tears. She was compelled to compromise with life. Then, she decide that she could never ever dream about anything in her life because if dreams are not fulfilled will be broken. It is very difficult to face the reality. It's really very painful.
