Nepal: A land of Diversity

Nepal is a small landlocked democratic country situated in the lap of the Himalayas. It has remained an independent and peaceful country since time immemorial. It is popular for its distinctive feature – a land of diversity.

Nepal is divided into three geographical areas. Therefore, there are at least three types of climate. There are different types of flora and fauna and different kinds of crops are grown.

Nepal is a diverse country from caste point of view. Nepal is a land inhabited by Brahmins, Chhetris, Newars, Gurungs, Rais, Limbus, Sherpas, Tharus, Yadavs etc. These people belong to different religion, language etc. Hinduism and Buddhism are the main religions but there are a few people who adopt other religion such as Christianity and Muslim. There are many people who are brought up in different culture, languages.

In conclusion what we can say that Nepal is a land of diversity. It is a land of unity. And unity in diversity is the specialty of Nepal.
